A484
Found myself on the A484 from Cardigan to Carmarthen last week. I didn't plan to be on it but it turned out to be a good mistake. The road doesn't seem too promising as you join in Cardigan but after a short while the bends start, and lots of them. For a bit of a midway pit stop check out Cenarth Falls. You see them from a bridge as you go but theres also a pub with a carpark right there and you can walk pretty much into the falls. I am told that the flow varies quite a bit depending on rain fall - chances are it will be spectacular all summer then! The last stretch from Cenarth through to Carmarthen just gives bend after bend. I don't mind telling you, I felt physically tired by the end of it. Definitely worth a look if you are in the area.
