2011 AMA PRO FLAT TRACK
The Springfield Mile is one of those races that has enchanted me from an early age. Springfield is Homer country these days and it wouldn't be unfair to say you have to have a few screws loose to ride The Mile with any enthusiasm.
The bikes are amazing. The racing is fast and furious and I've always wanted to have a go. Apparently you can now in the UK too, with some circuits starting to run flat track events. Can't wait to have a go.
Flat track racing is definitely on my list of things to try before I die. It might be best if it's one of the later ones - if you get my drift (see what I did there? I know, stay with me).
