“I think the Wales100 is brilliant!
( John Rostron – SWN Festival )

Cardiff based music website and promoter Newsoundwales has launched a new guide to Welsh music featuring the best bands and singers from or currently living in Wales.

Francis Brown who has compiled the list hopes the Wales100 will become a useful resource:

“The music scene in Wales is probably as vibrant now as it has ever been with exciting new acts appearing on an almost daily basis. The Wales100 is our selection of the best in contemporary Welsh music. We hope that promoters, journalists, broadcasters and those that love original and exciting music will find the Wales100 is a useful snapshot of what is happening in 2012.”

The Wales100 will be updated on an annual basis to ensure it keeps up with the ever changing musical climate.
