YOUR FAVOURITE MOTORCYCLE VIDEOS

GearUp magazine asked:
What's your favourite motorcycle movie or DVD?

That's a pretty good question that's asked. I would say that my favourite is Race to Dakar following Charley Boorman as he prepares and competes in the infamous Dakar rally whilst it was still raced in Africa. Just being given the chance to see what goes in to the preparation for a privateer team to just get to the start line is fascinating and quite inspiring. It gives you the motivation to think ‘Maybe I can do that' but then the realisation that our check books aren't as big as Charley's.

Got this from George at Wirral Bikers Motorcycle Club. Looks like a really nice road to ride.

Just had a peek online at your new magazine. It's looking good and should be well received!

What's your favourite motorcycle movie or DVD?
We'd love to know.

Big on our list is The World's Fastest Indian, the story of New Zealander Burt Munro who set the land-speed record at Bonneville in 1967 by a 1920 motorcycle.

A truly inspiring movie. One of Sir Anthony Hopkins' best.
